Life, The Law and Legal Issues is a 30-minute radio talk show. It is a timely discussion of important issues that affect you as a medical and legal consumer. Guests on the show range from writers and authors to environmentalists and government officials covering a wide variety of topics.

Fred Tromberg is a Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial Attorney with over 40 years of experience as a lawyer practicing in Jacksonville and Northeast Florida. Specializing in Civil Trial Law, his specialty areas of practice include automobile and truck accidents, medical and hospital mistakes and malpractice, nursing home mistakes and abuse, sexual assaults, inadequate safety, wrongful death, insurance law, professional negligence and complex civil actions, and lender liability. He is a member of the Civil Trial Board Certification Committee of the Florida Bar and is a former Chairman of Civil Trial Board Certification for the Florida Bar’s Standing Committee. Mr. Tromberg’s legal career began in 1976 when he was Law Clerk to the United States Attorney in Washington, D.C., during the aftermath of the Watergate trials and appeals. In 1977 Mr. Tromberg was admitted to the Florida Bar and was appointed as a state prosecutor in Jacksonville and handled a wide variety of criminal prosecutions ranging from DUI, theft and drug offenses to vehicular homicide, murder, DUI-Manslaughter, corruption and sexual battery cases. In 1979, Mr. Tromberg left the State Attorney’s Office and began working in private practice, initially in the area of insurance defense, representing individuals and companies who were defendants in a wide variety of cases, all of which were civil. In 1981, Mr. Tromberg started his own firm and began to focus on plaintiff’s practice and has confined his area of legal expertise to civil litigation and trial work in State and Federal court. He tries civil and criminal cases. Mr. Tromberg is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized as a Florida Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers magazine. Mr. Tromberg has been a frequent lecturer at the University of North Florida, at the Florida Justice Association as well as on behalf of the Florida Bar. He has also taught the paralegal program at Florida State College at Jacksonville and appeared on numerous television and radio interview shows on topics relating to legal issues. Mr. Tromberg has also been an Adjunct Professor of Law at Florida Coastal School of Law. He has taught for 14 semesters, including Florida Practice and Procedure and Advanced Trial Advocacy. Mr. Tromberg has also served as Chair of the Grievance Committee of the Florida Bar for the Fourth Judicial Circuit. He has written extensively on medical-legal issues and has been published on numerous occasions.
